Sagar Kaushik currently working as President, Corporate & Industry  Affairs, UPL is a graduate in Agriculture Sciences and holds a Master Degree in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Mr. Kaushik has over 35 years of experience in the Agriculture Inputs Industry. Prior to joining UPL, Sagar worked at Bayer Crop Science at multiple leadership positions in the area of General Management in different countries in Europe and Asia including India. He has been a part of the global research committee and global development committee of large multi-national companies during his tenure of working outside India.

Presently, Mr. Kaushik works for UPL Ltd. which is amongst the top five leading companies globally in the agrochemical sector. Major initiatives from UPL have been to make innovative solutions that are relevant for both large and smallholding farmers. UPL is globally engaged in providing innovative crop protection solutions to increase farm productivity and also reducing postharvest losses of both grains and horticulture crops.  The intervening technologies and specialized services are extremely valuable to make the food value chain more robust for increasing farmers’ income.

He started as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at UPL which has its presence in 130 countries worldwide. He has led an international leadership team for several years with UPL. From last three years, Mr. Kaushik is involved in the area of policy advocacy, Corporate Communications in  Global Corporate Affairs and Industry Relations across the agriculture value chain.
