Dr. Neeru Bhooshan is the CEO of Pusa Krishi and the Incharge of ZTM & BPD Unit, ICAR-IARI
overseeing the agri-incubation ecosystem in India.

As an expert in IP Management, Technology Transfer & Commercialization, Dr. Bhooshan has successfully commercialized 200+ technologies to 500+ agriculture-based companies. In 2018, she implemented the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme of the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and played a vital role in establishing 29 RAFTAAR Agribusiness Incubators across India. Under the scheme, the team has incubated & mentored more
than 2500 agri-startups and have created capacity development programs across the country.

Dr. Neeru is the recipient of many prestigious national awards including Panjab Rao Deshmukh for
Outstanding Women Scientist Award, Rashtriya Icon Award-2019, National IP Award 2017, Gold
Flame Award Asia 2016, Young Scientist Agriculture Leadership Award, 2015, etc. to name a few.

Her work is driven by her primary life mantra — ‘translating research into prosperity’.
